Nvidia launched the latest GeForce GT 440 series graphics cards for the mainstream market.
Nvidia claims that compared to the previous generation, the latest NVIDIA GT 440 GPU has up to 30% better performance. It also supports DirectX 11 tessellation.
The card features 96 CUDA cores, its graphics clock is set to 810 MHz, the processor clock is set to 1620 MHz and will be available by Nvidia's partners in memory configurations of 512MB (1600MHz, GDDR5) or 1GB (900 MHz DDR3)
The GT 440 series graphics cards also support NVIDIA CUDA,PhysX and Blu-Ray 3D technology, which are designed for both high quality gaming and great home theater solutions.
