Netflix today announced licensing agreements with a range of content providers that adds new titles that Canadian Netflix members can watch instantly on their computers and TVs.
The agreements add significantly to the selection of movies and TV episodes that can be streamed instantly from Netflix for $7.99 a month following the launch of the company?s service in Canada in late September.
Many of the new titles are available now and others will be made available over the next few weeks.
Among the highlights, Netflix members in Canada will be able to instantly watch include seasons 1 and 2 of the Emmy Award-winning television series "Weeds," seasons 1 through 4 of the hit TV series "The Tudors," "Best of" episodes and the last two complete seasons of Global TV?s "Saturday Night Live," seasons 1 through 5 of the Canadian hit "The Kids in the Hall" and seasons 1 and 2 of the drama "Merlin."
