Lacie has made available the LaCie Slim Blu-ray disc burner.
This bus powered drive combines Blu-ray technology and 50GB BD-ROM into a portable form factor.
The LaCie Slim Blu-ray records, rewrites, and plays back high definition (HD) video.
The slim Blu-ray disc burner is able to burn data at 6x on BD-R SL and at 4x on BD-R DL discs. Of course, the USB 2.0 interface of the drive is possible to not allow the drive to reach these speeds.
The drive comes bundled with the Cyberlink Blu-ray Disc Suite, which includes nine programs that let you burn, edit videos, and even photos.
The burner is available now for $264.99.
