Message Text: Microsoft is expected to talk about the upcoming Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) at the MIX 10 next month.

Dean Hachamovitch, the person responsible for the design, development, and release of Internet Explorer at Microsoft, will be on stage as one of the MIX10 keynoters in Las Vegas next month.

"Dean will talk about changes and improvements that have been made to Internet Explorer 9 since PDC09, and his talk is sure to include a couple of surprises," reads a post at Microsoft's MIX10 blog.

Microsoft has already provided some inforamtion about the IE9 at Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference 2009 last November. The company had shared an early look at some of the work under way on Internet Explorer 9 (IE9), highlighting advancements in performance and interoperable standards, as well as advancements such as using DirectX to bring the full power of the PC to the Web experience.

Microsoft said that Internet Explorer 9 has nearly closed the JavaScript performance gap between itself and rivals made by Mozilla and Google, even though the browser. Microsoft added that IE9 had an improved score in Acid3 benchmark, which checks how closely a browser follows certain standards, particularly specifications for Web 2.0 applications, as well as standards related to DOM (Document Object Model), CSS2 (Cascading Style Sheets) and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics).

The question is whether Microsoft will also offer downloadable preview of Internet Explorer 9 at MIX 10.

MIX 10 is a 3 day conference for web designers and developers. Organized by Microsoft, it will be held in Las Vegas March 15-17th, 2010.
