 Google's Tablet PC Prototype Appears In Youtube Video

Message Text: A member of Google's Chrome OS developing team has posted a video on Youtube, revealing a tablet PC concept.

The video was posted by Glen Murphy, one of the company's Chrome OS designers.

The device ahs a split-screen user interface allowing two tasks to be carried out at once. Google seems to have been developing the tablet PC's interface, based on the Chrome OS.

Based on the Chrome OS, which actually offers the Chrome browser packed with many features connected by the internet. The Chrome OS is mainly addressed to netbooks offering speedy boot up and could be the key of the development of an affordable tablet.

If the video is to be believed, Google maybe developing a tablet PC interface, potentially challenging Apple's iPad device.

Rumors have indicating that HTC, the manufacturer of Google's Nexus One mobile phone, has been working with Google on a tablet PC device.

The Chromium open source website has also posted pictures showing a tablet device with a touch user interface, supporting gestures such as dragging to scroll up and down, along with a full virtual keyboard.
