Message Text: MSI announced the availability of its s brand new P45-C51 & P45T-C51 mainboards for LGA 775 CPUs.

Along with the P45 chipset, these mainboards are equipped with USB Safeguard, MSI?s exclusive APS (Active Phase Switching) power saving technology, Easy OC Switch to overclock system performance, M-Flash, and All Solid Capacitors.

MSI P45-C51 & P45T-C51 are also equipped with MSI?s exclusive APS (Active Phase Switching) technology, a BIOS-level power-saving technology which works OS independent. MSI APS does not only switch the phases of the CPU, but also of the chipset and memory.

USB Safeguard is an integrated circuit which prevents Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), power surge and short circuit. It provides more stability when you plug in a USB device.

MSI?s P45-C51 & P45T-C51 mainboards both support Easy OC Switch. This switch makes it easy to tweak the core clock settings. Without setting complicated BIOS selections, the user can apply different settings by switching the OC Switch to different overclocking configurations. With just one click, the CPU's performance can increase up to 30%, making overclocking very easy.

In order to play Blu-ray HD movies, MSI P45-C51 & P45T-C51 are using the ALC889 audio chip, which does not only support 7.1 audio channels, but also True Blu-ray Audio decoding.

MSI has also improved its BIOS a lot with the help of renowned overclockers. New BIOS features have been added such as CPU Specification and M-Flash. MSI?s M-Flash is the first BIOS feature allowing a second BIOS boot up from USB. Users can test-drive a BIOS before actually flashing it. CPU Specification and Memory Z are the first in-BIOS features by which you can actively monitor your CPU and Memory performances.
