Message Text: After 27 years as a print publication, PC Magazine will become a 100-percent digital publication starting from February 2009.

The move, announced Wednesday, highlights the pressure on newspapers and magazines to protect their profit margins as more advertising dollars flow to the Web.

PC Magazine's publisher, Ziff Davis Media, said the magazine's last print edition would be the January 2009 issue.

PC Magazine Digital will continue to offer the same content the printed version has been offering all these years, includingreviews of products, as well as tech advice, news, and opinions. It will be also available via email and its pages will be fully printable for subscribers, Lance Ulanoff Editor-in-Chief of PCMag Digital Network said.

For current subscribers, the digital edition will begin arriving in their e-mail inbox. Online user are also able to subscribe for the digital version of PC magazine at http://go.pcmag.com/subscriberservices and follow the instructions on it. A free trial edition of PC Magazine Digital Edition is also available at http://www.zinio.com/pcmagtrial.
