CyberLink has announced its release of CyberLink BD Advisor 2, the selfdiagnostic tool that helps PC users identify if their system is able to play advanced Blu-ray Disc content such as interactive BD-Live features and Picture-in-Picture (PiP) movie commentary.
"The BD Advisor is a free tool helping our users to check if their PCs are Blu-ray ready. It has won many appreciations since its first release," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink.
CyberLink BD Advisor 2 scans and determines BD-ROM decoding capacity for disc reading, graphic card compatibility for high definition images displaying, and network capability for access of internet-connected features.
CyberLink BD Advisor 2 provides system diagnostic result on support of basic and advance Blu-ray Disc format allowing users to select their own system upgrades based on type of format desired.
The software is now free and available for download at Blu-ray Disc Support section on the CyberLink website.
