Acer has announced it has settled all ongoing patent litigation with Hewlett-Packard (HP).

The confidential settlement agreement resolves all claims asserted in three federal court lawsuits and two United States International Trade Commission investigations between the parties. As a result of the settlement agreement, each action will be dismissed as to the parties, Acer said.

HP filed suit for patent infringement against Acer in April last year triggering Acer to file counterclaims in July and November.
