Message Text: Microsoft has released information about the upcoming Service pack 1 for Vista, which will add support for Direct3D 10.1.

Vista will adds support for Direct3D 10.1, an update to Direct3D 10 that extends the API to support new hardware features, enabling 3D application and game developers to make more complete and efficient use of the upcoming generations of graphics hardware.

The article gives information about the release candidate 2 (RC2) of the SP1, which already adds a DirectX 10.1 support.
