Club 3D extends the line up of the HD3800 series with two new graphic cards based on the RV670 chipset.
The Club 3D HD3870 Overclocked Edition and the Club 3D HD3850 Overclocked Edition feature higher clock speeds and a high performance cooling solution.
The new graphics cards support the upcoming games with Microsoft Direct X 10.1, feature PCI-Express 2.0 for faster throughput and ATI CrossFireX plug-and-play upgradeability. The Unified Video Decoder is responsible for smooth playback with Blu-ray and HD DVD movies at full 1080p without taxing the CPU.
In addition, the featured ATI PowerPlay technology reduces power consumption at idle or during low-usage and provides gamers with higher power when they need it.
The Dual Link DVI display outputs drive two LCD panels with resolutions up to 2560x1600. For CRT monitors, two 400MHz RAMDAC?s are able to offer up to 2048x1536 at 85Hz.
Club 3D also implemented a radial heatpipe Cooling system, that keeps the temperature at the lowest levels during demanding applications.
