Message Text: Shuttle introduced six new XPC barebones at this year's Computex, the biggest IT fair in Asia.

The new models feature impressive equipment and come in various chassis designs. And for the first time, Shuttle's R&D department has integrated HDMI ports, for connection with HDTV displays, in their XPC Barebones. Furthermore the new Shuttle XPC Barebones are able to recognise the fingerprints of the user, and their visual appeal is evident in the Swarovski crystals of the G6 design, or the golden front of the latest G5M designs.

Shuttle XPC D'VO Series for Media Centre Applications

Shuttle's XPC D'VO series SFF Barebones fit into the living room environment, and impress with their unique gold trim design and mirrored black front panel.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5M Deluxe is equipped with an Intel G333/ICH9DH chip set, and supports multi-core processors, such as the Intel Core 2 Duo and the Intel Core 2 Quad. High-definition HD play back through the HDCP-compatible HDMI output and 7.1 Dolby Digital Live! and DTS Connect sounds are available.

Shuttle XPC Prima Series for performance

Shuttle has introduced the XPC Prima series, for professional and performance demanding applications. The Shuttle XPC Barebones SX38P3 Deluxe and the SP35P3 Deluxe feature an FSB 1333 MHz and the latest developments, such as chipset heat pipe cooling (Shuttle OASIS) and uncomplicated USB transfer between two PCs by "Speed-Link".

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SX38P3 Deluxe is set up with an Intel X38/ICH9R chip set with optimal BIOS settings for its CPU clock ratio, CPU clock and DDR2 voltage, and Intel Turbo Memory technology, for quick booting and loading. Two PCI-Express slots with ATI CrossFire support round off this gaming platform.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SP35P3 Deluxe, on the other hand, comes with the Intel P35/ICH9R chip set installed, supporting multi-core processors with FSB 1333 MHz, as well as future 45 nm processors.

Both models use biometric fingerprint recognition. Wireless connection is provided through the integrated 802.11b+g WLAN module or through the Bluetooth interface. The 7.1 multi-channel sound is powered by the integrated Intel High Definition Audio sound chips.

Shuttle XPC Glamor Series

The Shuttle XPC Glamor series includes the elegant G5, the luxurious G6, and the classic G2 chassis.

The Shuttle XPC Barebone SG33G5 uses the Intel G33/ICH9DH chipset. The integrated graphics function of the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 with Intel Clear Video technology offers high-definition play back. The HD content is also made possible thanks to its HDMI output and the Dolby Digital Live! and DTS Connect provide the perfect sound to go with the picture.

The luxurious G6 chassis of the Shuttle XPC Barebone SN68PTG6 Deluxe is highlighted by its trim of original Swarovski crystals.
