 NXP Offers Vista Driver For PC TV Products

Message Text: NXP today announced that it is improving the consumer PC TV experience with inbox driver support from Windows Vista.

With the upgrade to Windows Vista, consumers can now automatically install over 100 NXP-based PC TV tuner products, eliminating difficult and time-consuming installation problems. Previously, the installation process took several steps, but with the inbox drivers included in Windows Vista, the computer takes care of the complicated process in seconds instead of countless minutes, allowing consumers to use NXP-based PC TV tuner products straight from the box.

Over 100 products based on NXP PC TV tuner solutions have inbox driver support for Windows Vista including products based on the NXP family of PCI and PCI Express PC TV SoCs, SAA713x and SAA716x, are currently available.
