Message Text: BenQ today introduced two new display options for avid gamers, the BenQ FP241VW and the FP94VW LCD monitors.

Both new displays feature a sleek exterior design, BenQ's exclusive Senseye+gaming technology and come with HDMI interfaces.

The BenQ FP241VW features an ultra-fast 12ms MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time) for smooth playback of even the most action-packed visual content. Furthermore, the FP241VW comes with 6 specialized display modes including standard, dynamic, movie mode, photo mode, action game mode and racing game mode, offering the widest range of viewing experiences.

The FP241VW fully supports video resolution of 1080p and features HDMI interface (High-Definition Multi-media Interface) which allows easy connection to HD enabled equipment such as HD DVD players, and game consoles. The FP241VW also supports various inputs including DVI-D and D-sub for maximum compatibility.

The FP241VW incorporates BenQ's exclusive PerfectMotion dynamic video processing technology that eliminates ghosting and motion blurs. The PerfectMotion technology works by a two-step process with first reducing the grey-to-grey response time by accelerating the rotational speed of liquid crystal and second inserting black frames between frames from the video source.

The FP241VW is currently available Taiwan, China, US and Japan markets.

The secovd display, the 19-inch FP94VW LCD monitor features a muted black chassis and a sleek textured aluminum panel housing embedded high-tech controls. The FP94VW also features a user-friendly swappable hook which attaches to the back corner of the monitor and allows users to conveniently hang a headset, webcam or VoIP phone.

The FP94VW supports video resolutions to 720p (HD ready) and has built-in HDMI (High-Definition Multi-media Interface) which allows easy connectivity between HD enabled equipment such as HD DVD players and game consoles. The FP94VW also supports various inputs including DVI-D and D-sub.

The FP94VW will be available starting in early February 2007.
