SRS Labs announced the launch of SRS TruSurround HD4 (TS HD4),
the next generation surround enhancement technology for flat
panel televisions.
TS HD4 delivers virtual surround sound from front-positioned
speaker drivers ranging from 4.0 to 5.1 output channels.
SRS Labs? new discrete surround-from-the-front technology is
suited for flat panel TVs, speaker array configurations and
speaker bar accessories. SRS TruSurround HD4 is the latest
addition to the SRS TruSurround family of technologies which
includes TruSurround, TruSurround XT and TruSurround HD.
TS HD4 accepts input from 1.0 to 6.1 channels and renders
surround sound from the front of the listener utilizing 4.0 to
5.1 horizontal or vertical speaker driver configurations. TS HD4
provides detail to high frequency content and offers the ability
to adjust the mix of center information with respect to the
ambient stereo sound, so vocals are brightened and brought to
center stage. In addition to improving dialog intelligibility
and creating maximum bass response, TS HD4 provides bass
management for an optional LFE output and provides high-frequency
clarity for optional center channel.
SRS Labs will be demonstrating SRS TruSurround HD4 at the 2007
Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, January 8-11 at the Las
Vegas Convention Center, room N210. |
