Sony updates Blu-ray PC drive used in laptops

Sony released several updates, including new firmware and software updates, for Blu-ray drive based desktop and laptops, in order to fix several problems with BD-RE discs and playback issues.
While most of the updates are targeting Japanese users, worldwide Sony VGC-RC72DP and VGC-RC72PS/RC72S, VGN-AR90S/PS can update the firmware of
- VGC-RC ("Blu-ray disc drive SW-5582 firmware B101")
- VGN-AR90 ("Blu-ray disc drive MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ-210 firmware Ver.1.01")
, by visiting Sony Japanese website. More over, Sony released updates for StationTV Digital for VAIO Ver.4.0.02, WinDVD BD for VAIO and Graphics driver v8.5.1.3 (7600GT) |
