Teac unveilled today the details of three new optical storage products, including a super-multi DVD burner.
The new DV-W516GDM is an ATAPI 16x DVD burner with 5x writing support for DVD-RAM. The drive's capabilities also include 8x writing for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-RW and 48x/24x for CD-R/RW.
The Japanese company also gave details of its latest 1/2 inch CD-RW combo drive for notebooks, the DW-224E-R. The device reads all the available DVD formats and DVD-RAM, and writes on CD-R/RW media at 24x/24x.
Last, Teac relesead the DV-28E-R DVD-ROM drive for notebooks, capable of reading virtually all CD and DVD formats.
