Message Text: InterVideo and its partner Ulead announced that its UPnP solution, InterVideo Media Content Server (IMCSvr) has successfully passed DLNA certification.

DLNA is focused on delivering an interoperability framework of design guidelines based on open industry standards to complete the cross-industry digital convergence. These guidelines guarantee the interoperability between networked devices in the home environment with consumer electronic equipment and PC-based devices. Media Content Server meets all of the rigorous requirements of the DLNA Home Networked Device Interoperability Guidelines.

"In the digital home, successful connectivity between devices makes it possible for users to enjoy their media from any room in the house," said Steve Ro, CEO of InterVideo and chairman of Ulead. "For InterVideo Ulead, our goal is to provide seamless home entertainment solutions, and this certification ensures our customers won't be tied to any particular device."

InterVideo Media Content Server is fully compatible with all UPnP devices and standards, and supports real-time content transfer over networks, as well as streaming TV. With InterVideo Media Content Server installed, a user's PC becomes a complete digital multimedia center. Using UPnP-compatible client applications and devices, the whole family can enjoy videos, music, photos and TV throughout the home.

InterVideo Media Content Server and the complete InterVideo digital home solution will be showcased at Computex 2006. For more information, please visit www.intervideo.com.
