The 2.5-inch LCS color monitor reduces reflection and can even be seen even in bright sunlight, according to JVC.

The new model also provides an auto LED light for pictures taken in the darkness or low light conditions. The GR-D650 addtionally features an auto power off function abd includes a SD/MMC card slot.

Furthermore, the live slow function allows users to record in slow motion while retaining real-time audio.

Finally, it is equipped with S -video, AV, DV I/O (i.LINK) terminals, and a USB terminal. Photo navigator software for Windows and OS is Windows 2000/XP are bundled to the camera.

JVC's new GR-D650 camera will be on the Japanese market on May 13th and is expected to sell for approximately 65,000 yen ($550). It will be available in three colors: aqua blue, pink and silver.
