Message Text: VIA showcases Chrome, ultra mobile, audio, mainboards and more at the world's largest computing & communications technology show.

Chrome Ambassadors the girlz 0f destruction, the world's leading professional all-female QUAKE 4 team, take top billing at the VIA booth, taking on all challengers at QUAKE 4 in one-on-one death matches on high end systems featuring the latest VIA K8T900 chipset with S3 Graphics MultiChrome graphics. Challengers scoring points against the girlz can win great prizes, including unique Weapons of Destruction Chrome charm bracelets as well as the latest S3 Graphics Chrome S27 cards.

VIA will be demonstrating the latest discrete and IGP chipsets for the AMD and Intel platforms featuring the Chromotion video engine, and learn more about the S3 Graphics Chrome S20 series graphics processors.

VIA will also be showcasing leading Ultra Mobile and Notebook partner systems all based on VIA C7-M mobile processors and a feature set including the VIA PadLock Security Engine.

Visitors to the booth can also see the latest compact VIA EPIA mainboards for small form factor systems and experience a live audio demo of the all-new VIA Vinyl VT1708 High Definition audio codec, while for emerging markets, VIA is highlighting Intrepid Computing to enable ICT access for the next one billion users through the VIA pc-1 Initiative.

This year at the VIA CeBIT press conference, senior executives will be on hand to discuss the latest industry trends and VIA's premier silicon solutions. The press conference will be held in Room 3A of the Convention Center on Friday 10 March at 4.00pm.
