 New Digital Video Recorders from Philips

Message Text: Philips announced free-to-air terrestrial and satellite digital video recorders for Europe with its DTR7005 and DSR7005 set-top boxes with built-in 160 GB hard disk drive

The DSR7005 satellite receiver will be available in Germany and the Netherlands as of July this year, while the DTR7005 terrestrial receiver will be launched to consumers in France, Germany, Italy and Spain in the same month. Availability of the DTR7005 will follow in Sweden and Finland in October 2006.

Key features of the new DVR products include twin tuner, seven day?s EPG, 160GB hard drive, Dolby Digital bitstream out and "one-touch" recording from EPG and it is ready for ?Unicable?, Europe?s new standard in LNBs that will only require one cable to drive two tuners.
