Sharp will introduce into the Japanese market the PN-655 LCD Monitor, which uses a 65V-inch full-spec high-definition LCD panel.
The large 65V-inch screen reproduces computer-generated images such as CAD data with high-resolution and quality right down to the finest details. And because it?s LCD, the PN-655 gives colored images even in bright rooms and allows everyone in a meeting, no matter where they are sitting, to see the information on-screen with equal clarity. The high-definition videoconference function also promises displaying of facial expressions with detail.
The 65V-inch LCD panel offers a maximum resolution of 1,920 H x 1,080 V pixels,
while its ?dual fine engine,? enables the display of both PC digital data and audio-visual images in full high-definition. In addition, the ?picture in picture? and ?picture by picture? functions allow displaying of various image sources simultaneously.
Other features include a screen brightness of 400 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 700:1.
The display will be available in the Japanese market in March 24, 2006. Pricing details have not yet been announced. |
