 Canon Introduces DC40 DVD Camcorder

Message Text: New product features a CCD with a 4.29-megapixel resolution.

This CCD enables widescreen shooting with framing of such footage helped by both a widescreen LCD screen and a viewfinder. The camcorder has a 10x optical zoom lens.



The camera's Footage is balanced by an Electronic Image Stabiliser (EIS) processor. The unit features DIGIC DV dual-path processing, which should optimize colour performance for video and photography. Photo functions include image capture to MiniSD card, a built-in flash, USB image transfer, PictBridge direct printing and a Print/Share button. The DC40 features a Super Night Mode for low-light recording.

Canon also introduces a portable model, the FV M300, successor of the FV M200 which is equipped with a 20x optical zoom lens Second model. 1.3 Mega pixels CCD In addition, power is shown even in telephoto photographing by loading the optical 20 time zoom lens of microminiature which corresponds to Mega pixel CCD high powered. Both DVD camcorder offer recording on DVD-R and DVD-RW discs.


The FV M300 should be available in March and the DC40 will be shipped in April.
