Message Text: OpenOffice.org announced on Tuesday the first build of OpenOffice 2.0.1 for Mac OS X (X11) that can run on the newly released Macintosh Intel desktops.

OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 is the first update to 2.0 and this revised version remedies minor bugs and brings new features. For example, it is now possible to disable and hide particular application settings.

Plus, a new keyboard shortcut makes it possible for the user to return to a saved cursor position. The bullets and numbering feature has been expanded, and a new mail merge feature is available.

The v2.0.1 for Mac Intel (X86) (alpha) is available at Intel (alpha version, unstable)
The v2.0.1 for Mac PowerPC (stable) is available at PowerPC
