Fujifilm introduced the FinePix F420 Zoom today – a pocket-sized 3mp digital camera. It is due to ship to the UK in February 2004. Measuring 77-x-69-x-26mm, it’s Fujifilm’s smallest camera to incorporate Fujifilm’s fourth generation Super CCD HR technology, allowing for 3mp resolution, according to Fujifilm.
The camera features a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens, and can capture images at intervals of 0.25 second. The F420 Zoom captures movie footage with sound at 30fps, and incorporates a 30-second voice memo recorder. The camera has a 1.8-inch LCD preview monitor, and a video-out socket for viewing images on a television.
The F420 is powered by a rechargeable battery, and supports standard AAA batteries. It features an xD-Picture CardT memory card, and supports PictBridge, for printing direct to a compatible printer. Pricing is yet to be announced. |
