Dell Readies New 30-inch LCD Monitor

Dell will reportedly launch a new line of LCD monitors, the flagship being the 3007WFP 30" LCD.
The display will feature an WQXGA 2560 x 1600 native resolution a 14msec response time, 400cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio and a built-in 4-port USB hub and 9-in-1 multimedia card reader. The monitor will also be equipped with a DVI-D (Dual link) port with HDCP.
Dell's 3007WFP is expected to compete with Apple's 30-inch Cinema Display, currently available for $2500. Release for North America is scheduled for December 21, but its price has not yet been disclosed.
