Ricoh has released firmware update 1.12 for the Caplio GX8 to fix a printing error with some printers due to a failure on the PictBridge connection.

At the same time, a firmware update for the Ricoh Caplio R3, version 1.24, is released to improve the accuracy of the spot AF algorithm ,and correct the error where a user comment recorded in the Exif information may change into garbled characters with some software programs
