Message Text: Samsung Electronics will release its slim mobile phone SPH-A900, which is just 14.5 mm thick, in the U.S., the company said Tuesday.

The gadget, equipped with the wireless Bluetooth technology, is known as BLADE or SCH-V740 to local consumers, where it has been popular since its debut in June. It will be the first slim phone to be introduced in the U.S. code division multiple access (CDMA) market, the firm added.

The model allows users to download MP3 music files and video-on-demand using wireless high-speed data service (EV-DO or Evolution Data Optimized). It has a swiveling 130 megapixel camera and voice recognition function.
