Sanyo introduces the slim Xacti E6 that features a huge 3 inch LCD display.
The Sanyo Xacti E6 is a 6MP digital camera with 3x optical zoom. The internal optical zoom lens features a focal length of 38-114mm, providing a brightness of f/3.3 - 4.0. Measurements of the Sanyo Xacti E6 are 98x22x59mm and the weight is 153g.
It is an ultra-thin digital camera from the Xacti series. Apart from the 3x internal optical zoom the special characteristics of the Sanyo E6 are an impressive large 3-inch (7,32 cm) LCD display, MPEG4 format video recording and a so called Touch-Sensor. This new feature should improve the reaction of the Sanyo Xacti E6.
The Touch-Sensor is in fact a short-cut to focus faster on a subject. By touching the release button on top of the camera the Sanyo E6 is already ready to capture the image, you can compare it with half-pressing a ordinary shutter release button of a digital camera. By integrating this new features Sanyo improves the reaction time by 0.05 seconds.
