Message Text: The world's largest PC seller Dell is poised to pierce what it says is a price bubble in the LCD monitor market.

Dell International, its Korean branch, said last month it will launch a 24-inch LCD monitor at a price of W1.34 million (about $1,340). According to Dell, the Ultra Sharp 2405FPW is therefore about W1million ($1,000) cheaper than competing models. It can also be used as a television. Currently, 24-inch models retail in the upper W1 million range to the W2.5 million.

?There?s price bubble in the Korean PC and monitor market,? Dell CEO Kim Jin-gun said. ?Dell will catch up with the big names by offering a reasonable price.?
