 New portable Digital Players by JVC

Message Text: JVC announced the release of two new digital music players, the XA-MP101 and XA-MP51, that are equipped with a Direct Recording feature that enables them to directly record from a mini-component stereo without a PC.

The two models are schedulled to be in the market by middle of July, in two versions of 512MB and 1GB (flash memory).

Main Features

- A line input port (analog) enables connection to a mini-component stereo or boom box for easy recording of CDs and other music.

- FM tuning and voice recording

- An 18 bit Σ ∆ D/A converter that faithfully reproduces even subtle nuances in sound and earphones with powerful neodymium magnets deliver high-fidelity digital sound ranging from booming bass to clear highs.



- Choose your favorite color (two colors available for XA-MP101 and four colors for XA-MP51)

- Plays WMA and MP3 files. In addition, with support for DRM technology from Windows Media Technologies, songs purchased from Internetmusic sites can be played back.

- Music files located on a PC can be transferred easily and quickly onto the musicplayers without the need for any special software (USB 2.0 is supported.). In addition to music files, Word, Excel, image, and other data files can also be stored.

- Five preset equalizer settings

- Song information can be displayed in multiple languages
