Message Text: At the Computex Taipei 2005, AOpen presents its products based on its "Four Platforms" and "Four Value Solutions" product strategy.

AOpen's private booth at the United Hotel is also arranged to display its products according to the ?Four Platforms? and "Four Value Solutions" product strategy. During the opening day of the show, media professionals stormed into the show room for an opportunity to take a closer look of AOpen's AV products.

AV solutions steal the show

Arranged as part of the "Four Value Solutions" sector, the AV section of the booth showcased Cinema AV (A700), which comes with i865Gm-7N motherboard, Intel 865G chipset, Intel 4 530 (775) CPU, 512MB memory, 80GB hard drive, DUW 1616 (black) optical device, 6600-DV128+YPbPr VGA card, wireless keyboard/mouse set, and 17" LCD (silver black) display monitor. The 6600-DV128+YPbPr VGA card enables the system to display its TV video output to high definition TV receivers.

Except for operating as a powerful PC, the system can be used to watch TV, DVD movie titles, photographs, listen to FM radio, MP3 music or music files stored in the system?s hard drive, and play 5.1 channel high definition music.

Instant-on Start-up Software

Although similar PCs may be designed with such functions, AOpen's Cinema AV barebone PC is designed with a fast start-up software which allows a user to turn on the system as a music or DVD player or a TV instantly without going through the time-consuming Windows sign-on procedure. Furthermore, the power-on procedure can be conveniently activated with a remote control or the power button on a stylish vacuum fluorescent display (VFD).

Another eye-catcher of the section is EB915 (silver gray) system, which is built with UX915G motherboard, Intel 915G chipset, Pentium 4 560 (3.6GHz) CPU, DDR400 512MB, 80 GB hard drive, DVD1648 (black) optical device, KM861P (silver black) keyboard, MS230 (silver black) mouse, and 17" LCD (silver black) display monitor.

The stunning features of AOpen?s ePC (bare system) also captured the attention of the press. The ePC is displayed together with other peripherals such as 6600-DV128+YPbPr, 6600GT-DV128+YPbPr, and motherboards with powerful AV functionality such as i945Ga-PHS, i915GMm-HFS, i915Ga-HFS.

Gaming solutions

The AOpen gaming PC (KA50) also became the buzz word of the show. The gaming PC comes with nCK804Ua-LFS motherboard, with nVIDIA nForce 4 Ultra chipset, Athlon 64-bit CPU, 512 MB memory, 80GB hard drive, DVD1648 (black) optical device, 6800Ultra-DVD256 VGA card, KB977 keyboard, X1000 (black) mouse, 5.1 channel high definition audio outputs, and 42" plasma monitor.
