Sapphire Technology announced a new range of high end mainboards providing support for AMD Athlon64TM.

Developed primarily for the PURE Performance enthusiast, the specifications for the Sapphire PURE mainboard line have been chosen to give the user maximum flexibility in performance optimisation. Providing support for high- end hardware options such as Dual VPU support hardware and offering the capability for BIOS performance tuning, the PURE product family reaches new heights in desirability for the PC platform. Although it is not clearly clarified, Dual VPU means that two ATI graphics processors will ensure great performace for your 3-D graphics. Equipped with the latest ATI Express-200 chipsets it offers support for the latest socket 939 AMD Processors.
