Message Text: Tuesday April 19th, we visited the Metropolitan Hotel of Athens where Sapphire's latest products and techonologies were introduced to us.

We met with Adrian Thompson, the Global Marketing director of Sapphire technology and Andrea Di Giovanni from ATI who presented Sapphire's products to the Greek distributors and the press representatives. Their product line for the VGA cards includes Radeon 9250, 9550, 9600, 9800, X300, X600, X700, X800 and X850 as well as a TV tuner card and the "All in Wonder" series.

According to Sapphire, the new R520 chipset based VGA will be released around the month of June. We also learned that, in the near future, there will be an SLI motherboard solution manufactured by ATI which will simultaneously be compatible with a set of two different VGA cards and they expect it will be the best performing motherboard ever.

The company has introduced a new marketing strategy by adding 10 of the most popular games on the market to the retail package. The consumer will be capable of trying each game for one hour and then, with a serial number, he will have the possibility to activate one or two of the games, depending on his preferences.

In addition, a new silent cooling system designed exclusively by Sapphire will soon be released. Sapphire currently uses in some of its cards cooling systems manufactured by Zalman.

We aquired a special VGA card that we will be testing in the near future.
