Roxio, the well known Digital Media Company, today announced an agreement with
Microsoft to provide basic CD burning functionality for the Windows XP
operating system, which is slated to launch October 2001.
``This agreement validates CD burning as a mainstream technology requirement
for consumers and reinforces Roxio's leadership position in this exciting
