According to DigiTimes, CMC Magnetics chairman Robert Wong, indicated late last week that the global market for all kinds of blank optical discs is rebounding and supply may be short of demand in the fourth quarter of this year.

In contrast, Ritek CEO Gordon Yieh predicts that strong demand will only remain in the second half if demand continues to be strong in the second quarter and this causes supply to tighten.
