Message Text: Nidec Corp said Wednesday it has filed suit in the United States against Victor Co of Japan and some of its affiliates for infringement of Nidec patents on a technology used in spindle motors for computer hard disk drives.

The suit, filed with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Tuesday, claims that JVC supplied spindle motors to hard disk drive manufacturers without a license under these patents, Nidec said.
