 SunnComm?s MediaMax Copy Management Technology is Included On a Record 10 Million CDs in North America

Message Text: SunnComm International announced that it has eclipsed 10 million CDs featuring its MediaMax copy management and enhancement suite of products.

More than 25 record labels with 75 commercial releases throughout North America used SunnComm?s MediaMax technology last year. SunnComm?s president, Peter H. Jacobs, says, ?Our growth in sales in 2004 represents more than a 50-fold increase over our previous year. Record companies using our MediaMax technology get the CD content protection they need while consumers are treated to value-added MediaMax features they?ve never before experienced on a CD.? Jacobs concludes, ?SunnComm dominates our market space in North America by listening carefully to our record label partners and to the people who buy the music. SunnComm adapts, and adapts very quickly.? SunnComm earns royalties for every CD that integrates its MediaMax technology.

The company has consistently been ?first to market? with digital security and enhancement solutions that work. SunnComm has signed agreements with 3 of the 4 major record labels, including Sony BMG, (www.sonybmg.com) EMI, (www.emigroup.com) and, most recently announced, the 5 year agreement with Universal Music Group (www.umusic.com). SunnComm also has reseller agreements or works closely with the world?s largest CD manufacturing facilities including Sonopress LLC (www.sonopress.com), Cinram (www.cinram.com) Sony DADC (www.sonydadc.com), and Music City Optical Media, Inc. (www.mcominc.com).

Also today, SunnComm announces that 101 Distribution, LLC (www.101distribution.com) entered into a licensing and reseller agreement for the use of MediaMax CD content management and enhancement technology. Under the terms of the agreement, the music distribution and production company will use the newest version of MediaMax technology for many of the independent artists that it represents. As with all past SunnComm revenue agreements, there are no minimum usage requirements beyond those that determine per-disc manufacturing royalties.

Scott Stoegbauer, VP Sales & Marketing at QuietTiger (OTCBB: QTIG), SunnComm?s exclusive marketing arm, points out, ?The licensing agreement we just signed with 101 Distribution is the same type of arrangement we?ve had with every independent and major record label to date. Even though no minimum usage is called for in the agreement, our customer experience proves that MediaMax technology works and has the potential of generating substantial incremental revenue by minimizing sales drop-off. Once our record label customer experiences that result first-hand, they enthusiastically embrace the technology.? He continued, ?The labels become more and more committed to the technology as sales increase and consumer acceptance is demonstrated by the minimal number of customer complaints.?

SunnComm?s entertainment industry consultant, Artie Ripp points out, ?Of the 10,000,000 + MediaMax CDs produced, none were the result of any record label?s contractual obligation to a minimum use of MediaMax technology under the terms of their SunnComm license agreement. SunnComm further solidifies these strategic relationships by fulfilling each record label?s particular MediaMax design and production needs immediately after entering into a license agreement. In every instance where a record label and SunnComm have entered into a license agreement, SunnComm has consistently exceeded expectations related to design, production, quality assurance, and timely delivery of a finished product.?
