 Ricoh to Market 5.02-Megapixel Digital Camera with Longer Battery Life

Message Text: Ricoh has announced that it will bring to market the Caplio R1V, a high-end 5.02-megapixel digital camera, on January 21.

Weighing 150g, the product measures 100.2x25x55mm, and has a release time lag of 0.05 second. The SD memory camera offers 3.6x digital and 4.8x optical zoom to achieve an aggregate magnification of 17.3x.

The Caplio R1V can take approximately 490 pictures in CIPA format on a single recharge.

The open-priced digital camera comes with a 1.8-inch, 110,000-pixel TFT LCD. Ricoh expects to sell 50,000 units per month.
