At CES 2005, TDK, a world leader in digital recording solutions, is introducing an expanded lineup of recordable DVD media, offering consumers a host of exciting new solutions for creating and sharing digital video, multimedia and valuable data. With VCRs heading into the twilight of their recording careers, home DVD video recorders are the increasingly popular replacement as the "digital VCR." TDK is meeting a groundswell of demand with Video DVD, digital media specifically designed for home DVD video recorders.

TDK Video DVD discs are the perfect accessory for home DVD recorders, allowing users to record all their favorite live television, cable and satellite programs and movies directly to DVD. The discs are also ideal for archiving photos and transferring home camcorder videos and VHS tapes. Each 4.7GB Video DVD disc stores up to six hours of video and audio in extended play (EP) mode.
