Message Text: The new DVD-HD945, incorporates High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) for the first time at an affordable price. The HDMI output combines high-definition video and multi-channel audio in a single digital interface providing crystal-clear digital quality via a single cable.

In addition to simplifying the home entertainment installation with an "one connection" user interface option, the DVD-HD945 ensures perfect image quality with the Emmy Award Winning DCDI Video Processing by Faroudja. The innovative technology eliminates the jagged edges that appear when standard interlaced video is viewed on progressive scan displays. The loss of picture quality associated with analogue to digital conversion process is also eliminated, producing a smooth and natural looking image.

For an enhanced audio experience, the DVD-HD945 also supports both SACD (Super Audio CD) and DVD-A (DVD-Audio) playback.

The DVD-HD945 is available now and priced at around £179.99."
