 Pioneer to Release New HDD & DVD Recorders

Message Text: Pioneer announced September 30 the release of five hard drive and DVD recorders.

The high-end DVR-920H-S and DVR-720H-S incorporate the newly developed full digital circuitry "DianaCircuit" to deliver high-quality video playback and recording capabilities.

The standard DVR-625H-S and DVR-525H-S feature simple TV recording functionality, such as advanced EPG menu. Also available is the Smart theater 929 HTZ-929DVR, a hard drive and DVD recorder featuring a built-in 5.1ch surround sound system.

Pioneer plans to produce 5,000 units of the 920H-S, 20,000 units of the 720H-S, 10,000 units of the 625H-S, 30,000 units of the 525H-S, and 1,000 units of the HTZ-929DVR, respectively. All models are open-priced. Shipments will begin in late October.
