According to DigiTimes, Graphics cards using the GammaChrome 3D graphics accelerator from S3 Graphics will be available in stores in the fourth quarter...

, according to Gerry Liu, CFO and vice president of marketing at S3, the graphics unit of VIA Technologies. The GammaChrome will feature a built-in high-speed interconnect (HIS) bridge chip for PCIe connectivity, according to Liu. S3 is also cooperating with Rambus to enhance the stability of the data transmission.
