Enhanced sound experience for two speaker systems from InterVideo WinDVD and Spatializer


WinDVD from Intervideo will incorporate a suite of products from Spatializer Audio Laboratories, that will significantly improve the sound quality and sound experience of the standard two speaker PC sound system. The suite will provide "home theatre" sound from a two speaker system, without the need to invest in more expensive sound equipment.

The Spatailizer UltraPC HD suite will be included in OEM editions of WinDVD and includes five technologies:

  • Spatializer N-2-2 Ultra - enhanced Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro-Logico, fuller two channel sound, multi-channel surround sound.
  • Spatializer Phase Corrected Equalization - improves speech clarity heard through ordinary loudspeakers and headphones
  • Spatializer Natural Headphone - converts 5.1 channel surround sound into two channels
  • Spatializer N-2-2 ULTRA TV - virtual surround sound for DVD playback through TV speakers
  • Spatializer VirtuaLFE - for speakers with limited frequency response in the subwoofer frequncies
