Following the success of the DVD-X4, Waitec introduces the 3rd newborn in its DivX family: the DVD-X5. The DVD-X5 is an MPEG-4 DVD Player with MTK chip-set with DivX DRM, DivX Pro (GMC, QPEL / B-Frames) and XviD decoding capabilities.

Waitec’s DVD-X5 offers Progressive Scan function (thanks to its component video output), to enhance your visual experience, and MPEG-4 support. With the DVD-X5 you can take full advantage of the high quality of HD TV Monitors by reaching the incredible resolution of 1080 lines!! This is not all: the DVD-X5 comes complete with standard CD-Audio/WMA, CD-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, as well as DVD-RW!!

View your entire digital photo collection from you TV! The DVD-X5 is Kodak CD and Jpeg CD compatible! With the DVD-X5 you can also read a 700 MB CD-ROM containing 110 minutes full resolution MPEG-4 movie!!!
