Alienware selects Panasonic's sleek DVD MULTI Drive for its Digital Home Systems

Panasonic announced its entry into the growing gaming industry with the acceptance of its new UJ-825-BPN Slim Slot OEM DVD MULTI Drive by Alienware Corporation.

Alienware, a manufacturer of computer desktop, mobile, professional systems, and digital home systems, selected the sleek and versatile DVD MULTI Drive for use with its highly anticipated DHS digital home systems that was launched at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles, Calif.

By integrating Panasonic's UJ-825-BPN OEM MULTI Drive into the DHS system, Alienware users will enjoy the functionality of the industry's only slim slot front load MULTI Drive that meets all of the industry's latest standards for burning CDs and DVDs, as well as DVD-RAM discs. Alienware developed the new DHS system to serve as the next generation in home entertainment technology and convergence by replacing consumers' current multiple living room entertainment devices and combining DVR, CD/DVD jukeboxes, gaming, CD/DVD players and CD/DVD burners into one sleek unit. The new Alienware DHS system also acts as a high-performance Alienware PC and FM receiver.
