CyberLink's PowerProducer 2 grants DVD-Forum verification


CyberLink, will now carry the DVD-Video logo for PC Authoring on its PowerProducer 2 Gold software, assuring users that the software has passed the DVD Forum's requirements.

PowerProducer 2 Gold is the world's first software product to carry the logo and the second software product to meet the DVD Forum's high standards.

"Having this logo on PowerProducer 2 and PowerProducer 2 Gold shows that CyberLink continues to uphold the highest playback standards. It is a great honor to have our products meet the stringent specifications set by the prestigious DVD Forum and the DVD FLLC," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink.

PowerProducer 2 Gold's advanced features include DVD-VR to DVD-Video conversion, support for all DVD formats such as DVD+/- VR and double-layer discs, Right-to-Disc™ Recording for transferring video directly onto DVD, and play list authoring for users to produce a DVD-VR with playlists of their themed video or photo slideshow.
