NewTech Infosystems, Inc. (NTI) announced that its new CD & DVD-Maker Ver. 6.7 Gold Suite supports the latest Panasonic DVD MULTI Drives, including the new burners that provide 3x DVD-RAM and 4x DVD-R write speeds. The combination of Panasonic's DVD MULTI Drives and NTI's Gold Suite provides consumers with all the tools they need to create, safeguard, organize and share content on a broad range of DVD and CD disc formats.
The burning software supports reading and writing for DVD-RAM/,-R/,-RW media with storage capacities ranging from 4.7GB to 9.4GB, and 650-700MB CD-R and CD-RW discs.
Using the same NTI software suite and the same Panasonic drive, users can switch to DVD-RAM to backup and recover their files.
CD and DVD Burning - NTI's software suite enables users to store data files, organize digital photos, create a video library and enhance their music collection. Regarding the burning process, NTI CD & DVD-Maker Ver. 6.7 Gold Suite not only detects the correct speed available from the media and the drive, but it also automatically selects the correct writing method. CD overburn, buffer underrun support and built-in caching are also included.
Backup NOW! also includes incremental and differential support, a backup scheduler for unattended backup, backup over a network, on-demand compare, restore single files/folders and Intra Backup Restart which protects against the possibility of having to restart an interrupted backup job.
NTI's HomeVideo-Maker allows users to drag and drop video clips, digital photos and music files into either a storyboard or timeline editing format. Once assembled, users can add and delete scenes and enhance the video with music or special effects. The software also supports many time-saving features such as Smart Rendering for MPEG and DV AVI files, automatic and manual scene detection, and real-time movie or segment previewing.
In addition to an MP3 encoder, NTI's new Gold Suite is equipped with a WAV editor that lets users trim, crop, fade and add filters to enhance sound quality.
