MSI announced 8x burner with HD-Burn technology


MSI announced the DR8-A2 8X Dual DVD recording machine supporting 8X DVD±R recording, 4X DVD±RW recording while it also supports Sanyo's HD-Burn technology:

The following burning speeds are supported:

DVD+R: 8x, 4x, 2.4x
DVD+RW: 4x, 2.4x
DVD-R: 8x, 4x, 2x, 1x
DVD-RW: 4x, 2x, 1x
CD-R: 40x, 32x, 24x, 16x, 8x, 4x
CD-RW: 24x, 16x, 12x, 8x, 4x
HD-Burn: 24x, 18x, 12x, 6x

The following reading speeds are supported:
DVD-ROM: 12x Max
CD-ROM: 40x Max
