Panasonic releases portable DVD player


Panasonic's new potable DVD player, the DVD-LX8, has got a fairly big screen — 9 inches — for outdoor use. The smooth, clear VGA screen tilts to whatever angle you prefer. It also plays DVD-RAMs, DVD-Rs, CDs and SDs, and comes with a TV tuner with more options. Available from April 10, 2004.

The player is fully remote controlled. With a 1250g weight, it is a handy gadget for all outdoor lovers and travelers. The supported formats are the DVD-RAM, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, CD-R/RW (CD-DA, CD-text, AudioCD, MP3, WMA, JPEG, HighMAT), DVD-R.
